𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢: This song has always asked for a more colourful and fun visual interpretation. It was released as part of an album of otherwise more dark and emotionally melancholic songs, and “Run for Cover” has always been the optimistic “party kid” looking at the other side of the coin. The video tries to bring this to life, using our current downward spiral of lockdown madness as the theme to visualise a group of party starting rebels rocking out in their lockdown bubbles. The song helps them escape their realities, transporting them to scenes of carefree freedom (skating down an empty street, jumping off a cliff, riding a bike in the desert)…. at least for a few minutes.
